WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Cargill Canada plans to sell its St. Boniface, Manitoba feed mill to one of its customers, Standard Nutrition. The company also will close its Brandon, Manitoba feed mill.

Standard Nutrition will manufacture feed for Cargill in Winnipeg. Meanwhile, the company has entered into supplier agreements with feed manufacturers in the Brandon area. Cargill sales and customer service teams will continue to serve customers in Manitoba, the company added.

“The changes to our feed and nutrition operations align with our strategic objective to grow and sustain a business focused on helping customers thrive”, said Jennifer Henderson, managing director of Cargill Animal Nutrition’s compound feed business Western Canada. “We are confident these actions will enhance our ability to focus on solutions for our customers.”
