WASHINGTON – E.&B.'s Natural Way of Frederick, Md., recalled approximately 27,948 lbs. of raw lamb products, the Food Safety and Inspection Service reported. The products were produced without benefit of full import inspection.

FSIS said a routine a review of using the Automated Commercial Environment database uncovered the problem. The failure to present the product at the border for USDA-FSIS import inspection was the result of E&B not following appropriate procedures, the agency said.
