AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods Corp. announced the retirement of four executives and promotions for four employees at the company.

• Bryan Farnsworth, vice president of quality management, will advance to the position of senior vice president - supply chain, effective March 3. He succeeds William Snyder who is retiring.

• Lawrence Lyons, director of human resources, will advance to the position of vice president of human resources, effective March 3. He succeeds David Juhlke.

• Donald Temperley, director - pork operations and procurement, will advance to the position of vice president of operations - grocery products, effective April 28. He succeeds Michael Devine.

• Richard Carlson, vice president of quality management at Jennie-O Turkey Store, will advance to vice president of quality management, effective March 3.
