A new partnership between Williams-Sonoma and Sun Basket, announced Nov. 1, is putting the gourmet retailer’s twist on the meal-kit craze.  The companies are offering co-branded recipes and cooking tools as part of newly available subscription offers.

"Williams-Sonoma is one of the most beloved home and kitchen brands in the world. We are thrilled to work with a company that shares our commitment to making healthy, home cooking easier and more fun," said Adam Zbar, Sun Basket CEO and founder. "In addition to providing great content and products to our existing customers, this partnership will enable us to introduce Sun Basket to a whole new audience of home chefs."

On November 18, Sun Basket will offer a "Kitchen Essentials" package of cooking tools for new customers, available through Williams-Sonoma.com.

Beginning Nov. 1, Williams-Sonoma customers can purchase Sun Basket subscriptions as well as a variety of personalized meal packages, including those designed for specific diets, such as gluten-free, Paleo and vegetarian.

"At Williams-Sonoma we strive to offer customers premium products to help them cook with confidence and ease," said Janet Hayes, president of Williams-Sonoma. "Our partnership with Sun Basket gives our customers access to fresh, organic and non-GMO ingredients delivered right to their homes.”
