Consumers continue to crave convenience, which was showcased by the nearly 1,300 exhibitors at the 2017 NACS Show, produced by the Alexandria, Virginia-based Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing and held Oct. 17-20 in Chicago. Meat and poultry processors want a piece of the action. This was exemplified in a range of ready-to-eat and heat-and-eat items where meat and poultry was the star.
