INDIANAPOLIS – DinnerCall, a new mobile marketplace and app for family dinners, allows grocers to obtain family dinner sales outside of the store before families turn to fast food, restaurants and other meal options.

The existing deli infrastructure and inventory allow DinnerCall to aggregate future consumer demand for “dinners of the day,” letting grocery employees prepare and package a dinner within minutes of a customer’s arrival for curbside pickup.

With DinnerCall, grocers will offer daily ready-to-cook or ready-to-eat meals that dinner decision makers can order in advance and have the grocery store employees prepare the meals. The app allows grocers to meet the growing demand for fresh and convenient food. DinnerCall says it hopes to provide fresh and affordable meals become easier to get, so they can spend time focused on having more family meals.
