Cargill names commercial director

HEREFORD, United Kingdom – Cargill's European poultry business has a new member. Julian Culshaw recently joined the team as commercial director.

His responsibilities include managing the relationship between Cargill and Tesco, a leading retailer in the United Kingdom. Before his appointment to commercial director, Culshaw worked for Greencore leading the commercial relationship with Tesco in the Bakery and Chilled Convenience categories before rising to commercial controller for Greencore Prepared Meals in 2012. Culshaw brings 20 years of experience to his new post.

"It is a very exciting time to be joining Cargill, as they invest in the UK poultry industry to satisfy the growing demand for fresh UK reared chicken from retailers and consumers," Culshaw said. "I am really looking forward to being a part of the team that strengthens relationships with key strategic customers in the UK."
