California Pizza Kitchen debuts in India

LOS ANGELES – California Pizza Kitchen Inc. has opened its first restaurant in India. Opened by CPK franchise partner JSMGGC India Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture between Mumbai-based JSM Corporation and Dubai-based Gourmet Gulf Company, it is located in the upscale Bandra Kula Complex (B.K.C.) district of Mumbai.
B.K.C. is a growing commercial district, which hosts a variety of corporations and points of interest such as the American Embassy, NSE, Citibank and two of India’s top schools: The American School and the Dhirubai Ambani School.
Guests can watch all of the innovative creations being prepared in the kitchen from their tables. The menu will include a variety of items from Thai Chicken Pizza and Waldorf Chicken Salad to the Kung Pao Spaghetti and Avocado Egg Rolls.
California Pizza Kitchen Inc. is a leading casual dining chain featuring an a line of hearth-baked pizzas and a broad selection of pastas, salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Of the chain's 264 restaurants, there are 31 restaurants located internationally in India, China, Japan, The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, South Korea, Guam, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates. CPK premium pizzas are also available at Dodger Stadium, Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the STAPLES Center.
