Deluge in China wreaks havoc on livestock, poultry

CHANGSHA, CHINA — A heavy rainstorm hit a city in central China's Hunan Province Friday and Saturday killing four people, more than 10,000 head of livestock and 100,000 head of poultry, according to Xinhua.

Economic losses from the rainstorm were placed at a minimum of $35 million.
