OTTAWA, Ontario – Cargill Meat Solutions announced a recall of Your Fresh Market brand ground beef products due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency reported. No illnesses have been reported.

The products were sold at Walmart stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Cargill told MeatPoultry.com the recall affects 31,000 lbs. of ground beef. The ground beef was produced Nov. 19 and Nov. 20.

Test results triggered the recall, according to CFIA. The agency is conducting a food-safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
