DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. – Tyson Foods subsidiary, Tyson Fresh Meats, has officially launched a program for retail partners carrying the company’s Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork brand. The Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork Certified Butcher Program is free of charge to Tyson’s partners and aims to educate meat departments with knowledge of the brand and its product offerings.

“We know that Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork customers expect their butchers to be knowledgeable about the product in their meat cases,” Senior Brand Manager Ozlem Worpel said in a statement. “We have worked hard to develop this program to ensure our partners receive superior education about the Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork products, brand history and their attributes.”

The training consists of two PowerPoint presentations, watching an educational video featuring Chef Mario Valdovinos and Certified Butcher Jamie Torrez, and successfully completing two short quizzes.

Participants that complete the course will receive exclusive demonstrations, merchandising strategies, continued education and be entitled to exclusive, high-quality merchandise including a Yeti Tumbler, official Certified Butcher hat, certificate and in-store signage.
