Conagra hires new executive to run snack brands

CHICAGO — Burke Raine has joined Conagra Brands Inc. as vice president and general manager of the company’s snacks business, which is part of the Grocery and Snacks operating segment.

Before joining Conagra, Raine was senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Hostess Brands since March 2016. Earlier, he was with Diamond Foods Inc., where he was vice president of marketing for snacks and senior director of marketing for the Kettle and Pop Secret brands. Prior to Diamond Foods, Raine spent many years at PepsiCo Inc., working in a variety of marketing positions in the company’s Frito-Lay unit. He began his career with General Motors as a regional distribution manager.

Raine received a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the Univ. of Michigan and a master’s degree in marketing and strategy from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke Univ.
