KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Quick-service restaurants are launching new burgers for the summer while sandwich chains and traditional restaurants have recently introduced meat-centric offerings to menus.

Burger King introduced the Sourdough King. The burger features ½ lb. of 100 percent beef, American cheese, bacon, onions and creamy signature sauce put together on a sourdough bun.

A&W showed off the Extra Cheddar Diner burger which puts up a 1/3 lb. double burger with three slices of white cheddar cheese, sautéed onion, and A&W signature Papa Sauce on a butter-toasted bun.

Jack in the Box modified one of its classic meals, the Cholula Buttery Jack. The burger features all the traditional ingredients of this burger with the addition of Cholula hot sauce.

The burgers are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to summer meals.
