Jeff Baker has been promoted to group vice president of deli at Hormel Foods.
 
AUSTIN, Minn. – Jeff Baker, Hormel Foods Corporation group vice president, Foodservice, has been appointed to the newly created role of group vice president, Deli. He will report to Executive Vice President of Refrigerated Foods Tom Day.

Baker will lead all of Hormel’s deli brands including Columbus Craft Meats, the Jennie-O Turkey Store deli division, the Hormel and DiLusso deli brands and Hormel Gatherings party trays.

"Jeff brings extensive deli knowledge and a strong culture of delivering innovative solutions to our customers and operators from the Hormel Foodservice division. Jeff will be working closely with Joe Ennen, currently president and CEO of Columbus Craft Meats, and other Hormel Foods business leaders, to unite all of our deli offerings into one dynamic organization that will deliver growth for years to come."

Baker has been with Hormel since he joined the sales department in 1990. He held product manager positions for smoked meats and sausage and was named Meat Products district manager in Buffalo, New York, in 2001. In 2002, he was promoted to senior product manager, Meat Products, and became the group product manager for Meat Products by 2005. His career with Hormel continued as he was appointed as director of fresh meats marketing and Precept Foods in 2009, and was named vice president, Foodservice marketing in 2012. He was appointed to his current role in 2015.

Mark Ourand
Mark Ourada has been named vice president of food service for Hormel Foods.
 
In addition to Baker’s promotion, Hormel announced that Mark Ourada, vice president, Foodservice sales, will advance to group vice president, Foodservice. In addition, David Weber, vice president, Foodservice marketing, will fill Ourada’s position as vice president, Foodservice sales.

Ourada joined Hormel in 1988 as a relief sales and merchandiser in Minneapolis. During his 30-year tenure at the company he has held the roles of territory manager, Foodservice sales representative, Foodservice account manager, Foodservice account executive, Foodservice area manager, Foodservice regional sales manager and finally vice president, Foodservice sales.

David Weber
David Weber has been named vice president of food service sales at Hormel Foods.
 
Weber joined Hormel in 1992. He was promoted to Foodservice regional manager in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2006, then promoted to president of Burke Corp. in 2012. He assumed the role of vice president, Foodservice marketing in 2015.
