“We are very pleased with Conagra’s shared enthusiasm of Sandwich Bros. and know they have the resources and expertise to continue our legacy,” said George Kashou, founder and co-owner of the business.

The snack category has been a core focus of Conagra’s merger and acquisition strategy in 2017. This past September, Conagra entered into an agreement to acquire Angie’s Boomchickapop. Earlier in the year, the company acquired Thanasi Foods LLC, the manufacturer and marketer of Duke’s branded meat snacks and Big Seeds.
