Johnsonville rolls out sandwich line, bourbon BBQ sausage

The Premium Breakfast Sandwich collection target convenience store customers.
SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. – Johnsonville is introducing its Premium Breakfast Sandwich Collection which features five new breakfast options. The sausage company is planning to market the line as a grab-and-go option at convenience stores.
These sandwiches combine proteins such as Johnsonville sausages, real eggs, cheeses and vegetable combinations. The sausages are presented in a variety of flavors and formats like patties and split links.
The new varieties include:
Breakfast Sausage & Waffle Stack – A breakfast sausage and eggs sandwiched between two waffles.
Italian Breakfast Panini – An Italian split sausage with scrambled eggs, provolone cheese, roasted peppers and onions, on grilled sourdough bread.
Savory Breakfast Croissant – A breakfast sausage patty, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese on a croissant.
Andouille Scramble Wrap – A spicy breakfast wrap full of andouille sausage slices, roasted peppers and onions, three-cheese blend, and scrambled eggs in a chile-tomato tortilla.
Spicy Sausage Bagel – Topped with smokehouse jalapeno bacon cheddar split sausage, scrambled eggs, and provolone cheese on a NY-style thin bagel.
Convenience stores can offer customers the sandwiches in warmers or pass-through warmers or store them in a refrigerator.
Johnsonville also released another product to its Smoked Sausage collection – the Smoked Bourbon BBQ Sausage.
Johnsonville's new Smoked Sausage Collection will feature other selected items, such as the Polish Kielbasa, Smokey Cheddar and Hot Link.
