Superior Farms hires new director of marketing

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Bob Mariano has joined Superior Farms as its new director of marketing. Mariano has more than 16 years of retail marketing experience, most recently as the director of Omnichannel Production with Sacramento-based Raley’s.
“I’m pleased to announce that Bob Mariano has joined Superior Farms as our new Director of Marketing,” said Anders Hemphill, vice president of marketing & brand strategy for Superior Farms, who led the search. “Bob comes to us with a wealth of digital marketing and customer engagement experience. His experience with a significant retailer will provide us with good perspective on connecting and communicating with our retail customers. Bob’s expertise will be instrumental in our ongoing social media strategy, website design and customer engagement activities.”

Hemphill and Mariano will work together on the company’s marketing efforts to drive consumers’ growing taste for American lamb. The addition of Mariano will bring greater insight to the ever-changing landscape of retail supermarkets.
