FRANKLIN, Tenn. —  Both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., part of CKE Restaurant Holding Inc., are adding chicken sandwiches to their menus with the claim of them containing no artificial ingredients preservatives or antibiotics.

CKE has introduced its Charbroiled Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich, which features pineapples and teriyaki sauce as well as the Charbroiled Chicken Club and the Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Sandwich.

“CKE is proud of our heritage as innovators of delicious menu items, ingredients and dining experiences,” said Owen Klein, vice president of global product development and innovation. “We strive to evolve as quickly as our customers’ tastes and expectations, ensuring new steps forward like our Charbroiled Chicken lineup continue to deliver on our promise of made-to-order meals you can enjoy and feel good about.”

All three sandwiches are all featured on menus at both Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants.
