PORTLAND, Ore. – Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice, a provider of food and supplies to the foodservice industry, recently opened its 24th location in Wenatchee, Washington.

The warehouse-format store covers 23,000 sq. ft., and will carry more than 8,000 products, including fresh meats, produce, cheeses, dairy and deli products, frozen foods, groceries, baking ingredients, beverages, baked goods, janitorial supplies, catering supplies, tableware and barware. The Wenatchee location also is the company’s 63rd store to open in the western United States.

“Our stores provide foodservice operators the right products at the right price,” John Mathews, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Cash&Carry, said in a statement. “We offer an assortment that includes major national brands, as well as high-quality private label products. We buy in volume at the best possible prices and we pass those savings along to our customers. We are excited about opening our new store in Wenatchee to serve new and existing customers in the area.”

This article is very misleading. We have had a URM cash and Carry (open to the public) for at least the last 20 years in the same location. If this article is refering to the minor remodel they did then that is fine, but the store is nothing new to the Wenatchee Valley.
