Private equity firm purchases Stampede Meat

Stampede processes portioned, marinated and cooked meat products. 
 
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Middle-market private equity firm, Wynnchurch Capital LLC, has acquired Bridgeview, Illinois-based Stampede Meat Inc., a protein solutions company specializing in portioned, marinated and cooked beef, chicken and other protein products.

“We are excited to partner with the management team of Stampede to continue the company’s track record of superior customer service, safety, quality and innovation, and we look forward to supporting the company’s growth plans,” said John Hatherly, co-managing partner at Wynnchurch.

Stampede embraces this philosophy, offering highly customized, collaborative solutions to customers.”

Stampede, which was founded in 1995, distributes its products to restaurants, retail, home delivery and other channels.
