Expresco Foods launches portable chicken skewers.

MONTREAL – On-the-go consumers looking for a chicken-based alternative now have a ready-to-eat option. Expresco Foods has introduced ProSticks to address the growing demand for convenient, protein-rich snacks on the go. The grilled chicken skewers, offered in 3.5-oz. packages, deliver 23 grams of protein and are available at retailers in three flavors: Mediterranean, Sweet Sriracha and Chipotle.

Pam Salzman, director of communications with Expresco said today’s active consumers are seeking protein-rich options to provide energy for their on-the-go lifestyles.

“ProSticks are ideal for grab-and-go consumers looking to power up with a quick, cleaner label, high protein snack,” Salzman said. “Consumers are craving purposeful meal replacements and snacks that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime. Snacking is no longer a trend, it’s a way of life.”

With a $2.99 price point, ProSticks are available at Northern California-based Safeway stores and Jewel, Food Lion and Shaws in the US.
