CKE restaurants announces new CMO, COO

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants, CKE Restaurants Holdings Inc., has announced two appointments and a promotion to the executive leadership team. Jeff Jenkins joins the company as Chief Marketing Officer and Tom Brennan was hired as Chief Operating Officer. Chip Seigel has been promoted to role of Chief Legal Officer.

Jenkins joins CKE with more than 15 years of experience in digital and deep foodservice marketing, most recently at Whole Foods Market. Prior to Whole Foods Market, he was the director of Digital Experience and New Platforms for Taco Bell.

Prior to joining CKE, Brennan spent nearly 11 years with 7-Eleven working in a variety of roles including store operations, merchandising, and store development. In addition, Brennan previously worked at the Target Corp. as a part of its Financial Planning & Analysis team, and spent 6 years on active duty as part of the US Army’s Armor Corps. 

“I’m grateful to join such an iconic organization and inspiring leadership team,” Brennan said. “I look forward to working closely with the leadership team and franchisees to streamline our processes and grow the business across the board.”

Chip Siegel, chief legal officer, CKE Restaurants

In addition, Siegel has been promoted to the chief legal officer role where he will oversee the legal department.
