Bone Broth and McLean Meats are moving into more shelves in Canadian grocery stores.
KELOWNA, B.C. – Boned Broth brand products will be available to more Canadians thanks to a distribution partnership formed by Boned, A Broth Company Ltd. and McLean Meats.

“This collaboration gives us the opportunity to market our federally registered bone broths through a best in class service leader who has well-established, long-time distribution channels,” Shane Whittle, founder and CEO of Boned, A Broth Company, said in a statement. “This partnership gives us a more competitive opportunity than our former traditional distributors into the grocery sector and will help us begin expansion into international markets.”

Kelowna, British Columbia-based Boned specializes in nutrient-dense high protein bone broth products that are made without preservatives or added sugars. McClean Meats, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, produces deli meats made without chemical preservatives or nitrite extracts from celery, in addition to frozen foods and meat snacks. McLean’s products are sold in grocery chains and independent retailers throughout Canada and several US states.

“We recognize the inherent synergy between our two companies in our shared commitment to ‘clean’, healthful products that align with the values and wants of our customers,” Garth J. McLean, president and CEO of McLean Meats said in a statement. “For more than 20 years we have marketed our food products that nourish the body while supporting natural, humane and sustainable farming.”

Boned Broth products are available in beef, chicken and vegan hemp flavors. The broths currently are available in the frozen foods sections of grocery stores such as Wholefoods Markets, Overwaitea Food Group banners, Sobeys, Goodness Me, Safeway and other food retail locations across Canada.
