LEAWOOD, Kan. – Dean & DeLuca has become more than a destination for gourmet products. Along with the launch of premium seafood and a new produce selection, the market now provides shoppers with a single source for all of their groceries — from pantry goods to specialty items — in addition to premium meat, seafood and produce.

Dean & DeLuca’s Senior Category Manager Matthew Bell, specializing in meat and seafood, hand-selected the farmers and suppliers highlighted in the store’s meat counter. Selections include non-GMO poultry, Prime and Choice cuts of beef, pork and lamb and artisanal bacon and premium craft sausages.

In this video, Bell discusses the process behind the meat counter installation, the philosophy that drives Dean & DeLuca’s product selections and why he believes butchers are the bartenders of the store.
