Wayne Farms' crispy wings get brand refresh

OAKWOOD, Ga. – Wayne Farms LLC recently retooled its Crispy Fliers brand of bone-in and boneless chicken wings. The brand refresh includes updated packaging, ingredient reformulations and a product line extension.
The company said an ingredient reformulation for the lightly breaded mild boneless wings produces a better breading adherence and an enhanced savory flavor, all while maintaining the crispy texture Crispy Fliers are known for. Additionally, Wayne Farms unveiled a spicy version of the breaded boneless wing is being introduced for customers who want a traditional spicy chicken chunk. Both of these new products are fully cooked and fast and easy to execute back of house, according to Wayne Farms.
Crispy Fliers products will be packaged in a white master case decorated with a new, eye-catching electric blue logo. Cash n’ carry and foodservice customers will find two labels affixed to the master case that will easily identify the product in any environment.
