Dickey's Barbecue Pit expands menu

Butcher Tacos are one of the new products for Dickey's Barbecue Pit.
DALLAS – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit recently expanded its menu to include tacos, sliders and sandwiches underpinned by the chain’s recipe for slow-smoked barbecue.
The new offerings, which will be on the menu permanently, include Butcher Tacos, Smoke Stacks, specialty sandwiches and sliders. The company said the new items offer the chain’s barbecue in new combinations, portion sizes and formats. For example, the success of the Butcher Tacos as a limited-time offering earned the item a permanent menu spot. Smoke Stacks combine slow-smoked meat with a savory side on top, served in a bowl.
“Since 1941, we have solely served barbecue as a sandwich or on a plate with our savory sides,” Renee Roozen, president of Dickey’s, said in a statement. “We’re keeping those traditions, but now giving folks more portion and price point choices. We also wanted to stick to our roots with any menu additions.”
