MUNSTER, Ind. – Land O’ Frost Inc. announced on Dec. 13 the appointment of Reggie Moore as its senior vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining Land O’ Frost, Moore was the vice president of sales and marketing at Cargill.

In Moore’s new role, he will work to create synergies between sales and marketing and will “oversee development and implementation of strategies that support Land O’ Frost’s business and growth goals,” according to a statement by the company. Land O’ Frost is a family owned processor of pre-sliced, pre-packaged lunch meats, hot dogs and sausages.

“Reggie knows our industry inside and out, and his track record as a driven, results-oriented marketer speaks volumes about his leadership abilities,” said David Van Eekeren, president and CEO at Land O’ Frost. “His strategic insights and analytical approach will be an extraordinary asset as we continually strive to develop and market products that meet today’s and tomorrow’s consumer preferences.”

Moore brings significant expertise in product marketing to his new role at Land O’ Frost. Prior to his 2 ½ years at Cargill, Moore served as the head of global strategy and marketing at Tate & Lyle and as the vice president and general manager at Hillshire Farm. “Throughout his career, he has proven himself as an effective leader overseeing sales and marketing operations for a range of global brands spanning the food, beverage and agricultural industries,” the company said in a statement.

“Land O’ Frost combines the innovation of a leading, national food manufacturing operation with the caring attitude of a family-owned business,” Moore said. “I look forward to being part of an exciting future as we continue to build the company’s product profile and further expand our presence nationwide.”

Moore is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern Univ.’s Kellogg School of Management.
