LAKE SUCCESS, NY – Another “uncommon candidate” has emerged in this uncommon election season.

Plainville Farms, a brand of Hain Celestial Inc., will bring its “Uncommon Candidate” promotion to the streets of New York distributing free turkey sandwiches featuring meat from birds that were never given antibiotics or growth hormones and were humanely raised and fed a vegetarian diet.

“The holidays are a great time to think about a healthier way of life and our Plainville Farms turkey exemplifies our commitment to natural and organic foods,” said Jay Lieberman, CEO of Hain Pure Protein Corp., a division of Hain Celestial. “We believe that consumers deserve a wholesome choice for the holidays, and we're proud to offer an ‘uncommonly’ good turkey.”

The Uncommon Candidate food truck will stop at Bryant Park on Nov. 3 and Union Square Plaza on Nov. 4. Visitors to the truck can receive Plainville Farms Oven Roasted Turkey Breast served on Rudi’s Gluten-Free Original Bread. The truck will then travel to Lake Success, New York, home of The Hain Celestial Group Inc.
