BK franchisee acquires 17 more locations

Carrols Restaurant Group Inc. is the chain’s largest franchisee in the US.
SYRACUSE, NY – Burger King’s largest franchisee just got bigger. Carrols Restaurant Group Inc. completed the acquisition of 17 Burger King restaurants in the Pittsburgh and Johnstown markets in western Pennsylvania. The company already operates 65 restaurants in Pennsylvania.
Carrols has operated Burger King restaurants since 1976. So far in 2016, the company has acquired 49 restaurants, and operates a total of 755 Burger King locations in 16 states.
