URBANDALE, Iowa – James N. Anderson has been appointed North America sales manager of Camlin Fine Sciences (CFS), a provider of shelf life extension solutions, including antioxidants, aroma ingredients and performance chemicals.

Anderson joins CFS from Corbion, where he was the national accounts sales manager for Trancendim emulsifier bakery solutions. Before Corbion, he worked for such companies as Kraft Foods, Bunge Foods and AAK USA.

“Jim is a veteran of the food industry, and we are thrilled to have him on board,” said Jennifer Igou, general manager at CFS. “He brings with him not only a great deal of knowledge in the markets we serve, but he has also built up many strong relationships in the industry. He is a great addition to the CFS team.”

In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for growing CFS shelf life solutions in the food segment along with the CFS brand in North America. With Anderson at the helm, CFS said its North America business aims to provide tailor-made shelf life solutions and excellent customer service.

“Having the opportunity to come to CFS and help build this organization in North America is really exciting,” Anderson said. “CFS produces a diverse product line of shelf life solutions such as Xtendra traditional antioxidants and NaSure natural antioxidants and extracts. I look forward to helping our customers achieve their shelf life expectations while also growing the CFS brand.”
