LOS ANGELES — Chef’d, an online meal kit delivery service, has teamed up with Atkins Nutritionals Inc. to launch meal kits featuring Atkins low-carb recipes and ingredients sourced and delivered by Chef’d.

Each recipe in the ‘Atkins powered by Chef’d’ meal kits has been evaluated by Atkins nutritionists to ensure the meals meet the program’s nutritional guidelines, Atkins said. The line includes 20 Atkins recipes such as zucchini chicken alfredo, chimichurri steak and cauliflower mash and maple mustard glazed salmon and asparagus.

“I have always been inspired by Dr. Atkins, as he was someone who thought differently and set out to prove why he was right,” said Kyle Ransford, CEO of Chef’d. “Atkins has become the low-carb lifestyle leader, and through our collaboration, we are making it easier than ever to follow his game-changing approach. Our wide selection of wholesome, fresh low carb meals makes healthy eating both achievable and enjoyable.”

The co-branded meal kits, which consist of pre-portioned ingredients and a recipe card with nutritional information, may be purchased on Chefd.com and Atkins.com. Prices range from $10 to $18.50 per serving.

This meal kit alliance is the second for Chef’d. In September, the company partnered with the Hershey Co. to launch dessert kits.
