SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Todd Wilson recently was appointed general manager for Cobb-Vantress Inc. for North America.

Wilson comes to Cobb-Vantress from Tyson Foods Inc. where he was senior director of continuous improvement. He has worked for Tyson Foods since 1989.

“Todd’s industry experience and technical background make him a valuable asset to our strong North American team,” Stan Reid, vice president of North and South Americas, said in a statement.  “His proven leadership skills make him an excellent choice to work with our production, sales and technical service teams.”

After graduating from Virginia Tech Univ. with a Bachelor of Science in poultry, Wilson began his career as front-line broiler services technician. Two years later, he became hatchery manager at Broadway, Virginia, before moving on to broiler, breeder and live production management roles in Sedalia, Missouri. In 1999, Wilson was promoted to complex manager at Berlin, Maryland, and in 2003, became director of live operations.
