Largest Burger King franchisee acquires more locations

Carrols Restaurant continues to add to its Burger King count with its latest acquisition.
SYRACUSE, NY – Carrols Restaurant Groups Inc. completed the acquisition of four Burger King Restaurants in Detroit. Carrols is the largest Burger King franchisee in the United States with a total of 727 restaurants in its portfolio.
So far in 2016, the company has purchased 22 restaurants. Carrols has been a Burger King franchisee since 1976. The company operates in 16 states and employs more than 18,000 workers.
