TORONTO – Doug Oakey was promoted to vice president, Retail Sales North America, at Belmont Meats, a processor of proteins for the foodservice and retail industries. Oakey previously was a senior sales director.
“Doug has proven himself to be a relationship builder who believes in working closely with clients to achieve mutually beneficial success,” Paul Roach, CEO, said in a statement. “We’re excited to have him take on even greater responsibility as we continue to deliver the highest quality meats to a growing base of customers.”
Oakey has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive in the protein business. He joined Belmont Meats in 2012 as senior director of business development, and currently leads the company’s North American retail division.
