Rick Badgley to join Brinker as chief people officer

Rick Badgley will join Brinker International as senior vice president and chief people officer.
DALLAS — Rick Badgley has been named senior vice president and chief people officer at Brinker International Inc., effective July 18.
Most recently, Badgley was vice president of talent management and retail for TOMS. His responsibilities ranged from recruitment to talent and succession planning to employee experience, in addition to TOM’s strategy for the construction, design, experience and operations of new stores worldwide.
Earlier, he was vice president of global staffing at Starbucks Corp., where he specialized in functional training, leadership development, organizational development, recruitment technology, selection methodology, talent acquisition and workforce planning. Prior to Starbucks, he held positions at Wyndham Worldwide, Corporex Companies and Elliot Associates.
