AURORA, Ill. – OSI Group LLC recently purchased a food processing facility and storage warehouse formerly owned by Springdale, Arkansas-based Tyson Foods.

The plant, located in Chicago, covers 200,000 sq. ft. and is close to an existing OSI facility. The company said the setup will provide the necessary infrastructure to support continued business growth.

“This facility enhances our capabilities to meet the rapidly evolving needs of our customers,” said Kevin Scott, senior executive vice president, OSI North America. “We are excited to have this facility as part of the broader OSI manufacturing network.”

OSI is a leading supplier of value-added protein and other food products to the foodservice and retail industry. The company operates more than 60 facilities in 16 countries.
