Kickoff to KCBS Cookout Tour announced

The Great American Cookout is about to start its season again. 
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) announced its Great American Cookout food sampling and demo tour will begin April 22 in Springfield, Missouri. The Great American Cookout will conduct cooking demonstrations and distribute samples at 20 barbecue competitions and food festivals around the US each month through November.

 

"We’re delighted to bring our 10th anniversary tour to some of the biggest, boldest and friendliest barbecue events in the country," said Carolyn Wells, executive director of the KCBS. "The Great American Cookout is designed to bring people together,” she added. Sponsors for the event include: McCormick Grill Mates, BUBBA burger and Ball Park Flame Grilled Jerky.
