NAMI releases 2015 Meat & Poultry Facts

WASHINGTON – The 44TH edition of the statistic-rich Meat & Poultry Facts for 2015 is now available according to the North American Meat Institute (NAMI). Published jointly by Vale, Oregon-based Sterling Marketing Inc. and NAMI, the annually released book is available in hard copy and electronic format and contains facts, figures, graphs and charts summarizing the latest data relating to the livestock, meat and poultry industry. Included in the publication are detailed statistics on production and consumption of meat and poultry products as well as the latest trends in pricing, import and export of products and the labor side of various industry segments.

NAMI members can purchase the print edition for $35 or access the digital format of the publication for $20. Non-member prices are $70 and $20 respectively. The 2015 edition can be ordered at the NAMI online store.

The impact of challenges that faced the industry in 2015, including animal disease outbreaks, export interruptions and economic factors, are covered in an introduction, written by John Nalivka, president of Sterling Marketing.
