Tyson plans for new hatchery

SPRINGDALE, Ark. – Tyson Foods Inc. has developed plans for new poultry hatchery in Springdale, the Northwest Arkansas Gazette reported. The new facility will replace an existing hatchery.

Development plans submitted by the company show a 78,392-sq.-ft. building, according to the Gazette report. The plan will be on the Dec. 1 Springdale Planning Commission agenda. If approved the incubation and hatchery center construction project is expected to last between 18 months and two years.
