AMS launches new website

WASHINGTON, DC – The US Dept. of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) recently launched a new agency-wide website, www.ams.usda.gov.

The newly organized site contains a section entitled, “Selling Food to USDA,” which combines information from former AMS webpages, including solicitation listings and award reports, product specifications and technical requirements, new and small business vendor information and web-based supply chain management details and resources, among other features.

Other sections of the new AMS website include Market News, Rules & Regulations, Grades & Standards, Services and Resources. Under the “Resources” navigational tab, visitors will find the Food Commodity Purchasing link, which contains Purchase Summary Reports and Annual Purchase Reports.
