Koch Foods ammonia leak hospitalizes 3

CHICAGO – Three workers were hospitalized after an ammonia leak at a Koch Foods plant on June 16. The individuals were taken to local hospitals where they were listed in stable condition, according to news reports.

Employees evacuated the plant, which processes poultry products for retail stores. The plant is in the Irving Park neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side, but the neighborhood was not affected by the leak.
