Hormel re-introduces consumers to Natural Choice lunchmeats.

AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods, Corp. is putting a new face on its Natural Choice lunchmeat.

The company announced a re-launch of the brand, which includes new products and a multi-faceted media campaign featuring actress Judy Greer who is known for her roles in the sitcom Arrested Development and the movie Three Kings starring George Clooney, among other performances.

“The campaign celebrates our pride in being the preferred, all-natural choice for consumers,” said Holly M. Drennan, marketing director of meat products at Hormel Foods. “The commercials and digital advertisements take a light-hearted approach at showcasing the dedication the makers of Hormel Natural Choice have to health-conscious consumers.”

The national print and online campaign features bold headlines such as, “Preservatives are for mummies,” “Open wide — your mouth, not your pocketbook,” and “Preserve your right” accompanied by the tagline, Make the Natural Choice. Greer is featured in offbeat commercials as the “voice of reason” and sheds light on better lunchmeat options.
