McAlister's Turkey Hot Brown is the chain's latest foray into the dinner segment.
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – McAlister’s Deli found inspiration for its new dinner entree in Kentucky.
The chain recently added to its menu the Turkey Hot Brown which features Butterball brand smoked turkey, applewood smoked bacon and other toppings — including Kentucky Hot Brown gravy on toasted white bread.
In support of the new item, McAlister’s is holding a “Hot Brown Throw Down” promotion which gives consumers a chance to win a weekend trip for two to the Brown Hotel in Louisville — birthplace of the Hot Brown.
“We’re excited to announce our new Kentucky-inspired entree, The Turkey Hot Brown as we continue to expand our dinner options with hearty, full-flavored entrees,” Donna Josephson, vice president of global market, said in a statement. “We are happy to bring this regional favorite to our guests and have created a satisfying sandwich that appeals to dinner crowds looking for delicious hearty meals.”
