Cargill executive joins seafood supplier

PORTSMOUTH, NH – Chris Mulder, former president of Cargill Foodservice North America, has joined High Liner Foods, a value-added seafood supplier. Mulder was appointed senior vice president of Foodservice Sales and Marketing in the US.

Mulder will lead all of the company's sales activity in foodservice with its national chain restaurant accounts, broadline distribution customers and marketing activities and initiatives.

“Chris brings to the table a track record of sales growth and leadership which is well-suited to lead our US foodservice business,” said Peter Brown, President and Chief Operating Officer (USA) of High Liner Foods. “The company's many acquisitions over the past five years have put us in the position of industry leadership, and we're thrilled to have a leader of Chris’ caliber take this combined business to the next level.”

Mulder brings to the job 20 years of experience in the foodservice industry. Before joining High Liner Foods, he spent 15 years at Cargill serving in numerous roles, most recently as president of Cargill Foodservice.
