AUSTIN, Minn. – Mark Morey, president of Dan's Prize, was promoted to president of Farmer John, Hormel Foods Corp. announced. Morey succeeds Greg Longstreet, who was chosen to lead the company's CytoSport Holdings, Inc. in July.

Morey brings 22 years of experience to the job. He began his career in 1993 as a meat products salesman in Dallas. Since then, Morey has served in multiple roles. He was a deli products manager at Dubuque Foods, where he later became a regional foodservice sales manager. He also served as the director of marketing for Precept Foods. In 2006, he became a group product manager in meat products. In 2008, he became the director of fresh meats marketing and general manager of Precept Foods. Morey assumed his current role at Dan's Prize in 2009.
