Allen Harim names supply chain manager

SEAFORD, Del. – Herb McCoun was named senior manager of supply chain at Allen Harim.

McCoun is a 32-year veteran of Perdue Farms, where he directed all supply planning for sales channels, including raw materials and production scheduling. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, the company said. McCoun also is charged with streamlining Allen Harim's supply chain process.

“Herb's expertise in supply chain development and management will provide clarity to our operations and sales that will ultimately translate into outstanding customer service for our company,” said Jack Coleman, senior director of sales and marketing at Allen Harim. “We are very excited to have Herb join our team and look forward to his expertise and guidance as we work toward greater efficiency in our supply chain.”

McCoun earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the Univ. of Kentucky.
