PFG names new CEO to foodservice unit

RICHMOND, Va. – Dave Flitman was named president and CEO of Performance Foodservice, a unit of Performance Food Group (PFG).

Before joining Performance Foodservice, Flitman served in several executive leadership roles at several companies. In January 2014, he was named president and COO, USA & Latin America at Univar, a chemical distribution company based in Downers Grove, Ill. He also served as executive vice president and president, Water and Process Services at Ecolab. Flitman began his career with DuPont, where he spent 20 years working in operational and leadership positions.

Flitman earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Purdue Univ.

Performance Foodservice operates a distribution network supplying an array of food products primarily to restaurants, in addition to hotels, healthcare facilities and other institutional customers. The segment serves more than 85,000 customer locations with more than 125,000 food and food-related products.
