FPSA to feature top meat processors

MCLEAN, Va. – The meat track sessions of the Food Processing Suppliers Association's (FPSA) 2015 Annual Conference will feature high-profile executives from leading meat processors. The conference will take place March 18-20 at the Omni Resorts La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Donnie Smith, president and CEO of Tyson Foods Inc., will kick off the session with a presentation. Kenn Propp of Harvest Meats and Paul Kafer of Smithfield foods also will give presentations during the conference. FPSA said the speakers will discuss the unique challenges they see in the modern meat industry and innovative approaches they take to address them.
“It’s not often that you get speakers of this caliber,” said David Seckman, FPSA president and CEO. “Our members are looking forward to meeting the speakers and hearing what they have to say. In essence, this is what the FPSA Annual Conference is all about; bringing in influential food processors who can enlighten the supplier community on what is important from the customer’s perspective.”
