Popeyes launches boneless-chicken innovation

ATLANTA – Spices used in traditional Louisiana recipes served as the inspiration for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen's Spicebox Chicken.

The chain's newest boneless chicken innovation features 12 savory flavors and seasonings blended to make its Cajun blackening spice. The new offering also comes in new specialty packaging that slides open like a traditional spice box.

“Everything we do at Popeyes echoes our Louisiana roots, so we opened our own spice box and created a new dish that is a feast for all the senses,” said Hector Munoz, Popeyes CMO-US.

Spicebox Chicken is avaiable as a limited-time offering through Dec. 24 for $3.99.
