Dunkin' Donuts revives Angus offering

CANTON, Mass. – Angus steak has a permanent place at Dunkin' Donuts. The company returned its Angus Steak & Egg Breakfast Sandwich and Angus Steak & Egg Wake-Up Wrap to the menu – on a permanent basis.
"We've had Angus Steak as part of our menu for a limited time at different points over the past couple of years, and it has always been quite popular with guests seeking innovative and interesting sandwich options, and the chance to enjoy a classic steak and eggs breakfast on the go, any time of day," said Jeff Miller, executive chef and vice president of Product Innovation for Dunkin Brands. "Based on its success, we're thrilled to add the Angus Steak & Egg Breakfast Sandwich and Wake-Up Wrap as a permanent part of our lineup of quick and delicious sandwiches. In the future, we also look forward to the possibility of developing more steak-based choices that can be enjoyed all day long."
The Angus breakfast offerings feature an Angus steak patty with egg and American cheese. But both sandwiches can be customized with other items such as croissants or English muffins.
The permanent Angus items join a sandwich line-up that includes two varieties of chicken sandwiches along with ham and cheese, turkey, cheddar and bacon, chicken salad and tuna salad.
